Yellow Belt Test

In March, Davis tested for his yellow belt. He did so well & we are so proud of him. I think I was more nervous than he was! LOL

March pictures

Here are some pictures from March..... at least what I had saved on Kodak gallery.

5 Year Checkup

Today Davis went for his 5 year check up. He did so well & I am so proud of what a big boy he's becoming.
His physical & check up went so well. He was once again declared "perfect"! He's on the tall size for his age, passed his hearing test, had 3 shots, peed in a cup, & had his blood drawn. He also had an x-ray taken on his tonsils b/c they're so large.
All in all, we were there for about an hour & he was so patient & such a good boy.
The best part of the visit for him was that we found out that he doesn't have to have another shot till his 7 or 8 year check up!!! That made him happy. LOL
After the appointment, we went to Target & then met Daddy for lunch. We had a great day together & now we're finishing up the day w/ Family Movie Night! As I'm typing this blog, the boys are on the couch, Eliza is in the floor playing, & I'm on the love seat watching Alvin & The Chipmunks.
Gotta love this life!

Davis turns 5!

Our baby boy turned 5 on March 14. Where has time gone?
Now that he's 5, it's a whole new world! Kindergarten, Legos, playing the wii.....
We celebrated with a party at Incredible Dave's with a few of his friends.
He is obsessed w/ Star Wars & Star Wars Legos right now! So, he had a Star Wars party.
I now have a 5 year old. As sad as I am, I will say that I'm looking forward to the fun times that being 5 will bring. He's growing up! I just hope that we're raising him to be a good young man.

Annabelle May 2001-March 2010

In March we had to put our sweet Annabelle down. It was the hardest decision I've ever had to make. Words cannot express how awful the experience was & how much I regretted my decision for days after losing her.
As time has passed, I know it was for the best. She was old & sick & the best decision for our family. It's hard to remember our lives w/o her & we still miss & think of her daily. I still think I see her in the house or that she's in bed w/ me at night.
Davis seemed to understand & did very well w/ her going to heaven.
Bowie had trouble & seemed depressed for a few weeks after losing his sister & best friend, but seems to be doing well now.
This pictures was taken just days before she died.

February

Just to catch ya'll up.....

In February, Eliza turned 3 months old &..........ummm..... yeah, I've got nothing!
Here are some pics that did get salvage from our computer crash 2010!

Computer Problems

So, I had all these pics from the past several months that I was excited about blogging about.
For instance, Davis went to the eye Dr for the 1st time, Eliza's 1st Easter, & our lives as a foursome. We lost it..... not our minds, but almost. The pictures. Not all of them, but most of them.
I'm sad b/c when we went to the eye Dr, Davis tried on glasses (he didn't need them) & made silly faces while I took pictures.
My favorite was a picture of him wearing big fish bowl glasses & making a fish face! I can't get that image out of my head! It was so cute. Instead of sharing the picture, I share the story. I need to go back this weekend to pick up my glasses (that I did need) & Danny suggested we do a retake.
Maybe... just maybe!
